Readers of this blog know how hard I am on the leadership of the USA in all sectors from government, to industry, to academic and military leaders. Leadership is definitely in short supply world wide and in particular the USA.
Robert Zoellick is one exception. I think he is the strongest World Bank leader since Robert McNamara! I am not a fan of the latter individual but I am a big fan of Robert Zoellick whom I have never met. Yes he once was a Goldman Sachs partner and also Deputy Secretary of STATE! But he is very smart, very competent and says important things. Here is one in the story that follows:
