What will be the legacy of Osama bin Laden?

If I had been President I would have let the Arab world release the news. The OBL legacy may well be enhanced by the announcement by the US PRESIDENT!

There is too much anger and frustration in MENA on the streets and in their polity generally to not worry about enhancing OBL’s legacy. I am concerned that the US again in its ignorance has done just that.

It will take over a decade and perhaps longer IMO to understand fully what drove OBL and what his legacy represents to history! But at least that decade long process has finally begun with his death. A man who did make history.

While I concur William and like you, I see on CNN and Fox News not only subject announcement from the WH, yet also concerned to see these young people in front of the WH and I hope they will stay vigilant today and tomorrow for Lucifer has many others fully capable of cold blooded murder….

I also believe that the President’s reach out to Muslems globally and the distinction citing the fact that Bin Laden truly has killed so many Muslims as well and for the sake of educating the global public, the President’s speech was welcomed. It is time we learn more about one another, not necessarily to embrace one another, but to afford one another the dignity each of us deserves as God’s children….

*Kudos to the intel folks — and from here on Main Street USA, thank you to each and everyone of you for your service!

    God Bless our beloved Republic!
